Several airports are now powered entirely by solar energy, reducing dependency on fossil fuels and lowering their carbon footprint. Airports are also incorporating smart building technologies, rainwater harvesting systems, and electric vehicle (EV) infrastructure to further enhance sustainability. Efforts to integrate green aviation fuel (SAF) refueling stations are also underway, promoting the use of cleaner energy in flight operations.
